Hampton Roads Transit Customer Alert
Virginia Beach Weekend Traffic Delays
Effective: Friday, April 27, 2018

The Virginia Beach Oceanfront area will experience major vehicle and pedestrian traffic during College Beach Weekend beginning at 7:00 pm Friday April 27 and again at 5:00 pm Saturday April 28. The routes 20, 33 and 960 will experience heavy delays due to congestion, with the routes 33 and 960 also being detoured due to road closures.

NO ROUTE DETOURS EXPECTED
Heavy traffic along Laskin Rd. and Virginia Beach Blvd. will cause delays in both directions.

Outbound from Arctic Ave/19th St.:
R – 19th St.
R – Baltic Ave
R – 32nd St.
L – Pacific Ave.
Regular Route

Inbound from Atlantic Ave./68th St.:
R – Atlantic Ave
R – 32nd St.
L – Baltic Ave.
L – 20th St.
R – Arctic Ave.
To Shelter

Route 960
Outbound via I-264 East:
R – Exit 20 to Laskin Rd.
Bear R onto VB Blvd.
L – Baltic Ave.
R – 20th St.
R – Arctic Ave.
To Shelter

Inbound from Arctic Ave./19th St.:
R – 19th St.
L – Baltic Ave.
R – VB Blvd
Continue past First Colonial Rd.
R – Ramp to I-264 W
